Edwin Bower Hesser

Edwin Bower Hesser (1893-1962) was a commercial photographer who specialized in soft-focus portraits. His clients included Corinne Griffith, Mae Murray, and Gloria Swanson. He was equally well known for his “art studies” of hungry starlets, using sylvan settings to transform his subjects from scantily clad flappers to latter-day goddesses.
