Bud Fraker began working as a unit still photographer at Columbia in 1933 where his uncle, William Fraker Jr., managed the gallery. Bud moved to Paramount in 1941 to become an assistant to A.L. (“Whitey”) Schafer, and then succeeded him in 1952. He was known for his work with Alan Ladd, Burt Lancaster, and Ray Milland.
