Elmer Fryer

Elmer Fryer became the head portrait photographer at Warner Bros. in 1929 when that studio joined its facilities with First National. For the next twelve years he made all the studio’s publicity portraits, creating the images of George Arliss, Ruth Chatterton, Edward G. Robinson, Humphrey Bogart, and Joan Blondell.
