William Walling, Jr. was known as the vital and effective partner of Eugene Richee in the Paramount gallery from 1934 to 1941. Indeed, Walling’s work is difficult to distinguish from Richee’s. That does not diminish the greatness of the work he did with such stars as Anna May Wong, Madeleine Carroll, Bing Crosby, and even Martha Raye.
