Description
Limited edition print featuring Minor Threat's Ian MacKaye perfroming at Cathy de Grandeon April 3, 1983. The photograph was shot by Kevin Salk while still in high school. The photo depicts Ian staring straight into the camera while the crowd with members of the band rock-out behind him. MacKaye is wearing a now icon t-shirt with '18 and Free' graphic on the front.
The image was selected from the Kevin's 2020 solo exhibition at FATHOM Gallery in Los Angeles and is included in his book 'Punk: Photos from a Fans Perspective' published by FATHOM.
The print is an archival pigment print on 100% cotton fine art paper with a satin baryta finish. Each print is signed and numbered in the margins by the artist, and released in the following exclusive worldwide limited edition: 18x24, edition of 70 and 24x32 edition of 30.
Minor Threat had a major influence on American Punk Rock Music even though the band was only active for three years starting in 1980.
