Welcome to our Rock Iconix Collection of David Bowie Photos
The one, the only David Bowie. With score of platinum, gold, and silver albums, this highly prolific, convention-eschewing rock artist was determined from an early age to make a seismic impact on popular music. Whether as his flamboyant alter ego Ziggy Stardust, or his signature Thin White Duke, Bowie and his elegant, at times off-kilter take on rock music quickly found a home in the airwaves of the western world and soon became a staple of popular culture worldwide. Although his sudden death in 2016 was devastating to the music world, his incredible compositions, striking visage, and creative spirit will live on and remind us of the critical importance of art in our lives.
Most of the images in the collection haven’t been seen since they ran in magazines decades ago. All of the prints come direct from our Los Angeles Studio and are made to museum grade archival standards on 100% cotton paper. The collection includes concert photos, candid shots, portraits and photos from his music video sets.
