Anthrax drummer Scott Ian collaborated with SceneFour to create abstract art pieces that capture the unique nature of his musical performances.
This new genre of art, Rhythmic Expressionism, was developed by SceneFour as a way to translate live music onto museum canvas. The process incorporates drumsticks lit with various colored LED lights. It’s Scott’s unique drumming technique; his patterns, speeds, intensity that form the foundation of the final piece. Once the drum solos are digitally captured, SceneFour works directly with Scott to ensure the final piece reflects the spirt of the music.
Best known as the rhythm guitarist and co-founder of the Thrash Metal band Anthrax. Ian is the guitarist and a founding member of the crossover Thrash Band Stormtroopers of Death for which he is also the lyricist.
