FATHOM is pleased to present (just in time for Valentine’s Day!) BIG LOVE an exhibition of Graffiti Art including original paintings and prints from Karlos Marquez. A portion of all proceeds will support the Emery Martial Arts Academy Scholarship Fund.

Karlos Marquez has been contributing to the Los Angeles street art scene since 1983 writing graffiti under the name 'Kartoon' and and later as 'Bumps'. In 1985 he joined the seminal LA graffiti crew K2S (Kill To Succeed) as one of it’s original members, working alongside legendary writers including Prime, Big Sleeps, Defer, Heaven and many other major contributors to LA’s graffiti art scene. Marquez's art practice now includes sophicated abstract pieces that have hung in gallery shows in New York, Los Angeles, Beverly Hills and Palm Springs. But he always returns to his first love - Graffiti.

The Emery Academy of Martial Arts provides outstanding martial arts instruction to children and their families. Sifu Matt Emery has been teaching kindness, compassion, respect and courage to kids in the Los Angeles area for over 20 years. Art sales from the BIG LOVE Exhibition will help familes with finanical needs afford training at the Emery Academy.
