Riskie Forever | Roses

FATHOM is pleased to present a deeply personal new collection of figurative art celebrating the masters of hip hop from a true music insider Riskie Forever. As the former visual artist behind some of Death Row Records platinum selling albums, Riskie Forever is responsible for creating some truly legendary album cover art including the celebrated original painting for Tupac's 'The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory.' His collection ‘Roses’ is a personal reflection on his career and a celebration of the recording artists who’ve inspire him.

Riskie on the collection:

“Roses are one of the most ancient flowers. It’s eloquent style and growth and colors are considered to be one of the most sought out and most prestigious flowers known to man. Its beauty is obvious, its thorns are prominent. I created ‘Roses’ from my overwhelming feeling of gratitude. I was inspired by all of the artists I’ve depicted in some type of way. I’ve personally met half of them and had the opportunity to work artistically with some.

This is my first collection as an artist. I wanted to give my respect and pay homage to some of the lyrics, personality, culture and most importantly their artistic vision that has been an inspiration to so many of us.  Unfortunately, some are no longer with us, in the physical form.  But their presence here and creativity will carry on forever in a cycle continuously inspiring others.

You know the phrase; ‘Give em’ their flowers while they're still here’? I just gave em’ their roses for an eternity."
